Great Gun

5.0 / 5.0

This is a great gun. I've always preferred spool valve to poppet valve but there are a lot of both at my local field (Hogan's Alley in Meriden, CT).

I've had a variety of guns: Evil Minion 07, Proto PM7, Proto PM6, Dye DM4, Ion, Phantom, Tiberius pistol, PSP pistol, Spyder.

I was debating between the 09 Ego, DM8, and DM9. The DM9 won out -- they seem to have perfected a bunch of things (detents, eyes, feedneck, weight, trigger).

Mine is still fairly new but I've shot 4 cases and not a single break in the barrel and no chops. A large part of that is probably (the fantastic) Dye Rotor loader, but I'll probably end up keeping this gun.
